Eastleigh – SO50

SO50 is an industrial building in Eastleigh, Hampshire. We were brought in to remove its ageing asbestos cement roof and replace it with a new insulated composite panel system across around 450m².

Overview

The building’s original asbestos cement sheets had reached the end of their working life. Years of weathering had left them covered in moss and lichen, and the old roof lights had become discoloured. The client needed the old roof safely removed and replaced with a modern, weathertight roof that would protect the building for years to come.

Solutions

We stripped the existing asbestos cement sheets and removed them for disposal in line with current regulations. We then installed new insulated composite panels across the full 450m² roof, finished with a new ridge and flashings for a clean, weathertight finish.

The whole strip and resheet was completed in just four days, giving the client a modern, energy-efficient roof with minimal time on site.
