Sutton Scotney – S021

S021 is a brand-new agricultural building in Sutton Scotney, built for a local farmer. We were brought in to roof the new building with a durable composite panel system across around 150m².

Overview

The building was designed with a mono-pitch roof, a single slope running over new timber purlins. The farmer needed a roof that would keep the building dry, stand up to working farm life and need very little maintenance, with the roof finished quickly so the building could be put to use.

Solutions

We fixed composite roof sheets directly onto the wooden purlins, following the single pitch of the roof. A trim line gutter was fitted along the eaves to collect rainwater, and the whole roof was fully flashed at the verges, edges and junctions for a neat, weathertight finish.

The full roof, around 150m², was completed in just two days, leaving the farmer with a clean, durable roof ready for use.
